I grew up in the Andes In Ecuador and some of my favorite memories come from the time I composed this series of songs. Early in the morning I would wake up In a beautiful farm in Guayllabamba surrounded by snow covered mountains, breathing the pure cold air enveloped in intense colors. I would take my saxophone and sit on a stomp to play and write

I grew up in the Andes In Ecuador and some of my favorite memories come from the time I composed this series of songs. Early in the morning I would wake up In a beautiful farm in Guayllabamba surrounded by snow covered mountains, breathing the pure cold air enveloped in intense colors. I would take my saxophone and sit on a stomp to play and write music. Each tune is representative of a traditional Ecuadorian dance and is a tribute to my fathers roots.
