When I was 15 years old I used to go to my uncles farm in a town called Guallabamba. It was a beautiful place surrounded by mountains. I developed my sound playing on the edge of a cliff nearbywith the wind of the Andes blowing strongly. I remember I would try to make my sound bounce from the mountain that was in front. The first times I tried I could hardly hear my sound the wind sometimes was so strong that it would get inside of the saxophone through the keys and literally take my breath away.
