From the recording Natural Sax
When I was 15 years old I used to go to my uncles farm in a town called Guallabamba. It was a beautiful place surrounded by mountains. I developed my sound playing on the edge of a cliff nearbywith the wind of the Andes blowing strongly. I remember I would try to make my sound bounce from the mountain that was in front. The first times I tried I could hardly hear my sound the wind sometimes was so strong that it would get inside of the saxophone through the keys and literally take my breath away.
For some reason I always felt like my instrument sounded best with nature. Here is a simple song dedicated to those memories.
