Journey in Seven is an original fusion jazz composition that explores the expressive possibilities of jazz within a 7/4 meter. The unusual time signature becomes a landscape rather than a constraint, creating a sense of motion that feels adventurous, open, and constantly unfolding.

The melody is carried by alto saxophone and electronic wind controller, weaving through shifting harmonies and rhythmic layers that give the piece both momentum and depth. The groove breathes and evolves, inviting the listener into a journey that feels thoughtful, energetic, and exploratory.

As with all of my recordings, every element of this track was conceived, performed, recorded, and produced by me in my home studio. From composition and arrangement to performance and mixing, Journey in Seven is a fully independent artistic statement—an invitation to travel through sound, rhythm, and imagination.
